Sunday, September 2nd, 2007

The new Drenalin features new slim limb technology. The composite limbs are lighter and stronger than conventional limbs. They are also close to a half inch narrower than previous Mathews limbs with really cuts down on the overall weight. At just 3.85 pound  this is one super light bow.  The new ShereLock limb pocket also save weight but cutting down on the bulk of traditional limb pockets.  The 320fps speed and 7 inch brace height make this bow both fast and forgiving. At 33 inches long, the drenalin comes with all the bells and whistles of the previous Mathews products, featuring Harmonic Dampers, Roller Guard, Perimeter-weighted cam, string suppressors and parallel-limbs to help reduce vibration and noise.

Hoyt Vectrix Bow Review

Saturday, September 1st, 2007

Hoyt VectrixThe Vectrix sports 7-inch brace height and an IBO speed rating of 315 fps and 33 inches axle to axle. The Vectrix is lighter than the Trykon and features the StealthShot string dampening system. A rod mounted under the grip with a cushion of Limbsaver Navcom material on the end that the string hits when it comes back down. Hoyt claims the StealthShot removes 70% of string vibration during the shot. These systems combine to completely silence and deaden the bow. The firepower behind the Vectrix is generated from the new, highly efficient and super smooth Vector Cam & 1/2. The effortless and steady draw cycle is incredibly smooth, but the hard-hitting speed that it creates leaves no doubt that this is a high-performance bow. For a shot like you?ve never experienced, shoot the Vectrix today.
