Bowtech 82nd Airborne Review

Monday, March 31st, 2008

The Bowtech 82nd Airborne was made for one purpose and that is speed speed and more speed. This bow is blazing fast clocking in at an amazing 330-338fps with smooth mods and a mind blowing 344-352fps fast mod. This bow includes a new roller cable gaurd, a built in string stop, past parralell limbs, binary cam system, and zero tolerance limb pocket technology. For all the speed this bow provides it has almost no vibration and was very quiet. The 82nd Airborne is a little longer that most bows on the market today but the 36.5 axle to axle really makes this bow more stable and more forgiving. This is a great bow for the speed freaks of the hunting world.

Mathews DXT Bow Review

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

Mathews comes out with an updated version of the successful Drenaline named the DreanalineXT or Mathews DXT for short. And short it is at just 29 3/4 inches alex to alex. In addition to its lenght Mathews slim limbs make this bow super light (3.75lbs) and super compact. This balance of small size and light weight actually prduces a lot of speed, clocking in at 322fps.

The DXT’s SlimLimbs give the bow a streamlined appearance and result in less, unnecessary weight.  The DXT’s SlimLimbs are constructed of next generation SE4 composite claiming to last twice as long as traditional, lifetime-guaranteed limbs.

DXT features include a long list of Mathews’ relentless innovations such as a perimeter-weighted cam, parallel limb design, Harmonic Dampers, String Suppressors, a roller guard, the SphereLock Pivoting Limb Cup system, and Mathews new Lost Camo pattern.
